Join us inside our Virtual Launch Event where we take a dive into the new software to show you all the best new functionality. This immersive event replicates a day at a real event hall but can be accessed from anywhere and using any device. The event space is open and available till December 5th.

Keynote Speaker - Mark Beaumont
Mark Beaumont has made a career of World firsts and records to over 130 nations & territories, made documentaries over 15 years for the BBC, GCN & CNN, as well as publishing 5 books. Having cycled around the World twice, he holds this 18,000-mile record in 78 days & 14 hours.

Off the bike, these record breaking journeys have been through the high Arctic, mountaineering and ocean rowing, including surviving capsize in the mid-Atlantic. Mark was awarded a British Empire Medal in the Queen’s New Years honours for contributions to sport and charity. Mark's background is also in business & economics.

He is a partner of Eos Advisory, an early stage Innovation Fund, backing science, engineering and technology companies. Mark has also worked with LDC for over a decade, both supporting their charity work and portfolio of companies.
Virtual Hall Area Guide
Entrance Lobby

This is where you'll arrive as you enter our virtual conference. When you enter the lobby you'll be welcomed by a brief explanation of how to use the platform, then from the lobby you can visit the auditoriums or exhibition hall. If you have any issues or questions on the day them you can get support from the help desk in the lobby.


The auditorium is where you can visit to watch presentations from Solid Solutions, Dassault Systems and our partners. When you enter the auditorium you can view the full schedule and join the different presentations, after joining you'll be able to watch the sessions and interact with the presenters at the same time via text chat. After a session has aired it will be available for you to watch for 30 days.

Exhibition Hall

The exhibition hall is a dedicated space for you to find out more about our partners and products in more detail. Every partner will have a stand that you can visit to interact with them via chat, as well as watch their videos and find out more about what they offer. Just like our regular launch events we'll also have stands for our different products so if you're looking to find out the latest on SOLIDWORKS PDM/Simulation/Electrical etc. then make sure to pay a visit.

Is there a cost for attending?
No, we're happy to say our SOLIDWORKS 2021 Virtual Launch Event is available for everyone for free.
What if I want to watch sessions that clash?
Every session will be recorded and available for you to watch up to 30 days after the event finishes.
How can I get help with technical issues?
There is a help desk in the lobby if you have issues with the platform, if you are a Solid Solutions subscriber you can also contact support as usual.
When will SOLIDWORKS 2021 launch?
SOLIDWORKS 2021 SP0 was released on October 5th. Download the installation files from the SOLIDWORKS downloads page.
