SOLIDWORKS Design for Agriculture

Join us this month as we look at how best-in-class manufacturers of Agricultural Machinery are using integrated 3D CAD and CAM to streamline their design-to-manufacture process.

Using a real-life example, we will be modelling a chisel plough from scratch, adding components from 3rd party suppliers. By showing you the basics of creating simple 3D geometry and using it to generate drawings for manufacturing and client communication, we will demonstrate why SOLIDWORKS is the software of choice for designing Agricultural Machinery. Helping you to reduce design time, minimise errors and manufacture better products.

Once we've shown you the rich toolset in SOLIDWORKS (30-45minutes), you then have the opportunity to fire questions at one of our Elite SOLIDWORKS Certified Engineers allowing you to pose scenarios to your specific requirements.

3D CAD First Look: Introduction to SOLIDWORKS 2022

Join us for a complimentary "First Look" seminar to discover the benefits & capabilities that SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD could bring to your organisation.

We start from the basics, creating simple 3D geometry from scratch and using it to automatically generate drawings for manufacture and client communication. We then move onto the virtual workbench environment, building prototype assemblies, allowing us to check for interferences/misalignments, followed by some virtual testing to ensure the product is fit for purpose.

6 Golden Rules of Managing SOLIDWORKS Files
Our first in a series of 'On-Demand' webinars looking at file management of your SOLIDWORKS data. When modelling in SOLIDWORKS, before you know it, you will have created lots of parts, assembly and drawing files, so it’s important to think about how you will manage these files and keep everything organised. In this webinar we will discuss the ‘6 Golden Rules’ of managing your SOLIDWORKS files using Windows Explorer and recommended methods for file naming, structuring your projects and managing revisions

What does a Professional CAD Data Management System look like?
Our second instalment in a series of 'On-Demand' webinars looking at file management of your SOLIDWORKS CAD data. Managing your SOLIDWORKS files/data manually using Windows Explorer can be done, but it does have its limitations. As products develop, assemblies become larger with more and more complex data sets. There is no fixed marker of when you should look to implement more secure and professional management systems, some say from the start, but there are indicators.
