Introduction to SOLIDWORKS Electrical 3D?
View Description

Integrate electrical schematic design data with SOLIDWORKS models bidirectionally and in real-time. Use routing to connect electrical components, and determine optimal wire, cable and harness lengths.

Join us as we look at SOLIDWORKS Electrical 3D, the tool that allows you to place 3D versions of all electrical parts into a model, and run wires/cables/harnesses in 3D to connect all electrical equipment. Plan specific locations and paths, and accurately determine wires/cables/harness lengths before equipment is built to ensure consistent manufacturing and reduce scrap and costs.

All attendees will also be able to pose their own questions throughout to our team of engineers with a live Q&A at the end. This event is complimentary and we look forward to meeting you there.

3D CAD First Look: SOLIDWORKS
View Description

Join us for a complimentary "First Look" seminar to discover the benefits & capabilities that SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD could bring to your organisation.

We start from the basics, creating simple 3D geometry from scratch and using it to automatically generate drawings for manufacture and client communication. We then move onto the virtual workbench environment, building prototype assemblies, allowing us to check for interferences/misalignments, followed by some virtual testing to ensure the product is fit for purpose.

Event Agenda

  • 09:30 Introduction and demonstration
  • 10:50 Q&A & Close
All attendees will also be able to pose their own questions throughout to our team of engineers with a live Q&A at the end. This event is complimentary and we look forward to meeting you there.

Designing Marine Equipment with SOLIDWORKS 2022
View Description

Join us for a complimentary "First Look" seminar to discover the benefits & capabilities that SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD brings to companies in the marine industry.

Being efficient has always been the aim in most industries, no more so than in marine and offshore designs. With the increasing prices and demand for fuels cutting into margins, the need for efficiency to gain a competitive edge is vital. Using SOLIDWORKS the design process to production can be streamlined. With designs being planned, tested, and inspected, quicker and more cost-effective with a reduction in weight and more efficient components. The SOLIDWORKS 2022 portfolio is uniquely equipped to help you tackle these challenges shortening your route to market.

In this session we start from the basics, creating simple 3D geometry from scratch and using it to automatically generate drawings for manufacture, client communication and regulatory sign-off. We then move onto the virtual workbench environment, building prototype assemblies, allowing us to check for interferences/misalignments, followed by some virtual testing to ensure the product is fit for purpose.

Once we've shown you the rich toolset in SOLIDWORKS, you then have the opportunity to fire questions at one of our Elite SOLIDWORKS Certified Engineers allowing you to pose scenarios to your specific requirements.

All attendees will also be able to pose their own questions throughout to our team of engineers with a live Q&A at the end. This event is complimentary and we look forward to meeting you there.
