What are SOLIDWORKS Certification Exams? SOLIDWORKS Certification exams are a series of optional CPD-accredited certifications that SOLIDWORKS users can sit to quantify their skill level and enhance career prospects.
The SOLIDWORKS certification program is a great way to test competency and efficiency in the software.
It is the only industry recognised SOLIDWORKS accreditation and makes for a great addition to your CV.
SOLIDWORKS exams vary in length and difficulty but they all provide a tangible way to showcase your SOLIDWORKS skills and certify your achievements.
What are SOLIDWORKS Certification Vouchers? Exam vouchers or certification codes are offered to customers on SOLIDWORKS Subscriptions and allow users to sit SOLIDWORKS exams for free.
Vouchers can be redeemed in two windows across across the calendar year, once between January 1 through June 30, and then again in the July 1 through December 31 window.
Each term, three exam codes are available per SOLIDWORKS seat. When a redemption is completed, the vouchers obtained are valid for 180 days from the date they were claimed.

What SOLIDWORKS Certifications Exams can I claim vouchers for? Subscription customers can attempt the CSWA or CSWP free of charge, as well as any one of the CSWP industry-specific modules.
We suggest starting with the CSWA to gain your first certification, then you can build your skills before attempting the higher-level exams.

Who is Eligible for SOLIDWORKS Certification Vouchers? Customers with an active SOLIDWORKS subscription are eligible for certification vouchers.
Vouchers are not tied to a specific user so they can be shared with others so they may be used by anyone within the subscribed organisation.
How to Claim SOLIDWORKS Certification Vouchers Certification exam voucher codes can be accessed via the 3DEXPERIENCE Certification Centre . To do so, you will need your email address, company name, and the serial key associated with your subscription.
From there, you can either log in to an existing account or create a new one. Let’s walk you through the full process.
Step 1 Browse to the 3DEXPERIENCE Certification Center .
Log in via the button in the top right corner with your existing 3DEXPERIENCE ID or create an account.
Your 3DEXPERIENCE log in will be linked to your company’s information and serial keys.
First, log in to the 3DEXPERIENCE Certification Center. Step 2 To view and access credits click on the $ icon in the left-hand menu, then click Subscription Offer .
Access your subscription offer within the Certification Center. Your associated license will be checked to verify your subscription status and display relevant credits, passed exams and exam history.
Step 3 Select ’Look up my licenses’ .
Look up your license to verify your SOLIDWORKS subscription status. Once the license has been verified as being on subscription, it will display who many codes are available to use.
Step 4 Expand the ’+’ icon to display all SOLIDWORKS Certification exams.
Past exams will still display on this drop-down and you can check which exams you have passed on the certificates tab.
SOLIDWORKS exams help you identify your strengths as well as highlighting areas for improvement. The exam codes can be used by anyone within the company. The ‘Your Exams’ tab you can view your exam results and access a bar graph displaying which exam areas were passed or failed to identify areas for improvement.
From the drop-down menu, select the exam you would like to take, click ’Create Exam Vouchers’ .
IMPORTANT: Once you have created a voucher, you will have 6 months from the creation date to use them before it expires.

Before you start, it’s a good idea to test your SOLIDWORKS knowledge and evaluate your current skill level. How to use SOLIDWORKS Certification Vouchers Once you’ve worked your way through the steps above and feel ready to sit the SOLIDWORKS exams, head to the Certification Center to use your vouchers.
Step 1 After the exam voucher has been created or accessed go to the main home page of the Certification Center.
Step 2 All SOLIDWORKS and CATIA exams are conducted via the Virtual Tester application.
The download link can be found in the right-hand side of the Certification Center, head there to download the testing software TesterPro Client.
The tester client application can be downloaded from the right-hand side of the Certification Center. Step 3 Once downloaded, the TesterPRO Client will show up in searches as the Tangix TesterPRO Client .
Search for software and open the Tangix TesterPRO Client executable file.
Searching Windows for ‘Tester’ or ‘Tangix’ will bring up the client application. Step 4 Select your preferred language and click Continue .
Step 5 Input your username and password that you previously set up in the 3DEXPERIENCE Certification Center or create an account if you do not yet have a VirtualTester ID.
Step 6 Select SOLIDWORKS from the list of brands. Exams for other Dassault Systèmes brands can be also accessed through the TesterPRO Client.
Step 7 Now it’s time to input your voucher code that you generated in the Certification Center. Once you click ’Submit’ , you will have activated the code and be able to see the exams you are eligible to sit.
Step 8 Select your preferred language for the exam. The Start Exam button does exactly what you expect!
When you’re ready and comfortable, click the button to start the exam and you’ll be shown the introductory briefing for your chosen exam.
