Your Experience / Skills
You will have excellent 2D and 3D CAD skills in solid modelling, technical drawing, and an understanding of product data management as the role will primarily use SOLIDWORKS but will also include some 2D DraftSight/AutoCAD work.
Ideally, with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience within a similar CAD design position, you’ll also have experience of working within sheet metal design and drafting.
You will have a good understanding of materials and manufacturing methods. Our products are currently manufactured predominately from fabricated steel and aluminium, plastics, glass, and other panel materials and it’s important for you to have a logical approach to problem solving and awareness of manufacturing limitations.
