SOLIDWORKS Furniture Getting Started

Monday July 23, 2018 at 10:29am None
‘Getting Started’ is the second video in the SOLIDWORKS Furniture Series. At this point you should have an idea of the Workflow you are going to employ and this video helps you turn that thought in to action. There are two goals:   Help you to make all of the considerations you need to about the things you produce before getting started. Use the information gathered to begin with template & library set up.   Fundamentally the SOLIDWORKS Furniture Workflows require users to have a broad skillset and knowledge of many different areas of the software. Thankfully, much of the functionality is automated beyond the initial set up but the ‘catch 22’ is that as a result of this, there is a good bit of set up to go through before you get started. Covering Table Templates, the Property Tab Builder, Document Templates this video is another ‘must watch’ for users in the ‘Furniture Industry’.
