Salary Range:
  • £25,000 to £29,000 Base Salary
  • + Commission and Bonuses: £35,000 OTE

Job Description
Key Activities
  • Selling to Education institutes including schools, colleges, universities and research
  • Expanding the deployment of SOLIDWORKS products in our Educational customers
  • Creating and maintaining relationships within customers at multiple levels
  • Increasing Education market share, through selling Educational & Research software to new academic establishments
  • Working and collaborating with the wider sales team to support commercial sales and entrepreneur programs
  • Lead follow-up and qualification
  • Understanding customer requirements via calls and meetings
  • Arranging and supporting software demonstrations in conjunction with our technical team
  • Identifying additional opportunities within customers to upsell services and additional SOLIDWORKS products
  • Producing quotations and illustrating the value of our solutions
  • Negotiating and closing
  • Achieving quota and forecasting accurately
Your Experience / Skills
Successful candidates will have a proven sales record in the technology or software sector alternatively an engineering background with 2-4 years’ work experience and appropriate qualifications. Experience within Education or the CAD industry would be highly desirable but not essential.
