Description
Therco-Serck Limited are a Sheffield based company designing and manufacturing heat exchangers and pressure vessels primarily for the Petrochemical, Oil and Gas, and Power Generation markets.
The key roles and responsibilities of the Project Draughtsman are outlined in the non-exhaustive list below.
? Evaluation of the design inputs i.e. clients requisition, specifications, design reports or an existing GA drawing;
? Creation and checking of engineering/manufacturing drawings and bills of materials;
? Creation and checking of certain other related technical documentation;
? Ownership of & compliance with existing and new management system procedures;
? Liaison with other departments including direct contact with shop floor;
? Liaison with clients, suppliers and third-party inspection authorities;
? Procurement of materials;
? Attend departmental planning and contract review meetings.
Essential - 5 years (current) min Solidworks experience in a fabrication environment, creating fabrication drawings and BOM's for manufacture.
Preferable - heat exchanger / pressure vessel experience in the Petro - Chem / Oil and Gas industry.
