The PCB Design Engineer reports to the Head of Amplifier Engineering. He is involved in the development of new HF Amplifiers. This person will interface regularly with other engineering groups, including Hardware, Test, and Mechanical engineers. Strong organizational skills are required as well as detailed documentation of designs.



Primary tasks



The PCB Design Engineer is responsible for:



  • Creation of schematic diagrams and layout Printed Circuit Boards under the direction of senior engineers

  • Developing of necessary documentation for production to efficiently build components and systems

  • Building of engineering prototypes for evaluation and support the transition of designs into production

Your Experience / Skills

  • Aptitude for Computer Aided Design

  • Experience with Altium and SolidWorks preferred

  • Team player with willingness to learn and develop their skills

Qualification:

• HND/HNC or similar electronics qualification

Salary Range:
25k - 30k GBP
